I'm a massive cinefile. Anyone who knows me can attest to this! :) I love most genre's and am widening my appreciation more and more all the time. I'd like to thank The Academy (lol) for having a hand in that as I try to watch at least all the films that are nominated for Best Picture Oscar each year.
 
My favourite Director growing up was Steven Spielberg, for many reasons! These days I have lots of favourites and there is SO much talent out there but if I had to pick just one I'd have to go with Robert Zemeckis. I dream of one day making films as well as he does!
 
I started adoring watching films from a very early age so I began filming anything I could think of many years ago with Mum & Dad's home video camera.
These days it's so much easier to film and edit...and in HD too! So a few years ago I approached some friends with the idea of making a film for Tropfest - The World's Largest Short Film Festival, which started right here in Australia.
We've entered twice now and every time we learn a great amount! I can't wait to get started on our next film and maybe one day qualifying as a finalist in Tropfest!
